Welcome to my site.
Wooden Camera Sculptures are one of a kind, created from laminating various hardwoods from around the world, shaping and sometimes bending the wood, then adding recycled used camera parts, or other found objects. I can even take a family heirloom and create a unique gift for someone.
I am pleased to announce that I received a Best in Show, at the April 7 2017 National Juried Art Show at the Lynchburg Va Academy Center of the Arts, for my piece "8 mm#1". All the pieces in the show were wonderful and it was really just an honor to be included . My thanks to Ted Batt, the Academy Center for the opportunity be in the show, and to the juror Siobhan Byrns for stepping in at the last moment , for her final choices.
A few of my Camera Sculptures are now up on the Artful Home website (www.Artfulhome.com). A fantastic high end shopping site.
I will be showing my Camera Sculptures soon at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) Annual Craft and Design Show in Richmond Va. the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov. 17-19) 2017. Come on by!
